Welcome to a brand new year!

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been running a hoiday program listening to previous KYCK talks. The wil continue for this Sunday.

And then on Sunday 29th of Jan we’ll be starting the year of SWITCH with Pre-SWITCH. Why? Well it’s because we want to start SWITCH but some people are still o/s, so we want to kick off the year with a big bang! So we have prep-switch which will still be awesome but it’s before SWITCH. get it!!

So the big KICK OFF for 2012 is Sunday 5th Feb.

This year we’ll be looking through the whole book of 1 Corinthians seeing how a church which God had made had gone completely wild. We’ll also be going through some life issues such as suicide, euthanasia, homosexuality and abortion.

We’ll also be mixing up the format of SWITCH from time to time, so it’s gonna be the biggest year yet. For a glimpse of what we’re doing check out our timetable link

In the coming months, we plan to update the site so that the information is up to date. Anyways check us out from time to time.

On Sunday 13th March, SWITCH will be having our first social- the Amazing Race around Chatswood. We’ll be getting into teams and then catching a train from Lindfield to Chatswood at around 11.30am

It’ll be a great time to hang out together and bond. See the flyer for more info.

SWITCH will kick off 2011 on Sunday 30th Jan at 8.50am at East Lindfield.

But if you can’t wait till then, we’ll be having PRE-SWITCH this coming Sunday 23rd Jan starting at 8.50am

SWITCH  has finished for 2010, but don’t dispair we’ll be having a Summer program starting the first week in January.

Place: East Lindfield
Time: parents can drop them at 8:30am
         – program starts at around 8:50-ish
         – program aims to finish around 10:30
         – they can stay after for English Service or to be picked up by parents

On Sunday 14th November at 6pm in the East Lindfield church hall, the team that will be going to Thailand on a short term mission from the 6-20 Dec will be holding a supporters information evening. It’s an opportunity as a church to find out more about what we’ll be doing in Thailand. Come and find out how you can encourage and support us prayerfully and practically whilst over there. We’ll be having Thai for dinner and also sharing about a project that we are planning to support over there. This Sunday 17th SWITCH will resume for the final term with a 4th anniversary celebration. We’ll have some special things happening, and we’ll be starting a new series on the book of 1 Samuel. So come and join us for great Bible teaching, fellowship and cake!

for the next 4 Sundays’ we’ll be going through 4 of the minor prophets in the Old Testament. My suspicion is that most of you have never read through these minor prophets. But these are 4 books that will really change your life. The minor prophets unsettle, rebuke and comfort God’s people of every age- even today.

So we’ll be looking at Hosea, Habakkuk, Haggai and Malachi
